October Happenings
On October 17th, SBSM hosted our 7th Spooktacular Bunco Event at the Roseville Veterans Hall. It was filled with fun, laughter, delicious food, exciting raffles, silent auctions, and absolutely fabulous gift baskets! Everyone had a wonderful time! A HUGE THANK YOU to all our amazing Blue Star Moms (BSM) volunteers who worked so hard to make this event a success. Your time, dedication, and teamwork are truly appreciated.
And to our incredible community, THANK YOU for your continued love and support of Sacramento Blue Star Moms!

Huge Shoutout to Blue Star Parents - Debbie Sauter and her husband Axel for attending the Z² Track Days on Oct 5th, 2026. Lots of donations given to our Chapter including beef jerky, tuna etc for our Care Packages. Thank you to the Z2 family (Shawn Reilly, Kris Ben Jamin) for having our Chapter participate. The last days of the season are October 24/25 at Thunderhill East for the women cyclists.
Sept Happenings
On Sept 27th, we paused to honor the mothers and families who carry a sacrifice that can never be repaid. Behind every Gold Star is a loved one who served our nation - and a family whose lives were forever changed by their loss. Your soldier is not forgotten. The Sacramento Blue Star Moms had an emotional but very noteworthy event in recognition of the Annual Gold Star Mothers and Family Day today (the last Sunday in Sept). A very special thanks to Mike Calvert, Karen Meredith, Margo McKay and so many more for making this event so poignant.
