Over 1400 CARE PACKAGES sent to AFGHANISTAN in 2012
- April 28, 2012; Sacramento Blue Star Mom packing party mailed over 300 care packages.
- Memorial Day weekend; 130 care packages were mailed.
- August 2012; 158 care packages were mailed.
- October 2012; 27 boxes were mailed.
- November 5, 2012; Girl Scout Troop 2173 and 1442 from Bayside Church sent 15 care boxes.
- November 29, 2012, Nor Cal Beverage and Go Girl employees collected food and supplies to mail 125 care packages.
- December 1, 2012; Sacramento Blue Star Moms packing party sent another 625 care packages to our deployed service members.
- December 10, 2012; Elk Grove Food Service employees donated supplies to mail 50 care packages.

November 1, 2012 ~ Halloween Candy Buy Back for the Troops. The following Dental Care Offices bought back Halloween candy: 1258 Coloma Road, Roseville; 4000 Foothills Blvd, Roseville; 685 Twelve Bridges, Lincoln. Hugs to Marcus Douglas who rallied his friends to donate their Halloween candy.September 28, 2012 - CA Run for the Fallen - Spaghetti Dinner hosted by Deborah Getz, Founder of www.NeverForgetOurFallen.com
CA Run for the Fallen - dedicated teams of runners; Active Duty and Retired Military run 150 miles through California to finish at the Sacramento Valley Veterans National Cemetery in Dixon. Each mile is dedicated to the 711 fallen California service members. At each mile, an American Flag and a personal biographical card honoring the fallen warrior is placed.

September 8, 2012 - Picnic in honor of Gold Star Families - William Land Park
The last Sunday in September is Gold Star Mother's Day. A Gold Star represents a service member's death while serving in the Armed Forces.
