THE SACRAMENTO BLUE STAR MOMS
The Sacramento Blue Star Moms is a non-political, non-sectarian, non-racial, non-profit Veterans service organization with a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
The members are proud mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, foster mothers and female legal guardians living in South Placer county and Sacramento county who have children serving in the military, guard or reserves, or children who are veterans.
Along with our Associates (Fathers, Family and Friends),
We support all U.S. troops regardless of their hometown.
We support the U.S. Military; past, present and future.
We honor Gold Star Families and cherish their children.
We participate in community awareness.
We assist families left behind.
We share our compassion and pride with you.
We worry, cry and laugh together.
We collect items and fundraise all year long to mail CARE packages with a 'taste of home' to deployed U.S. Service Members who are stationed in harm's way. The CARE packages are filled with snacks, candy, socks, books, jerky, and personal hygiene items. Each box also includes a message written by those here at home.
The Sacramento Blue Star Moms depend solely on donations to complete our mission. You can help us support our military by donating items for CARE packages, make a tax-deductible financial donation, attend our events and fundraisers, write letters to the troops, and participate in CARE package packing parties.
